Failing to quantify student outcomes. Teaching resumes too often read as job descriptions rather than achievement records. Instead of "Taught 5th grade math," write "Taught 5th grade mathematics to 28 students, with 87% achieving proficiency on state standardized assessment compared to 72% district average." ATS systems rank resumes with specific data higher.
